RU58841 is a specific androgen receptor antagonist or a so called anti-androgen. This non steroidal topical androgen antagonist was investigated for therapeutic value in androgenetic alopecia and acne. In studies and clinical trials RU58841 has shown to;
- Strongly compete against DHT
- Increase cellular replication rate in the matrix cells
- Increase cellular proliferation of outer root sheeth cells
- Increase hair diameter and hair density
- Increase the percentage of hair in the anagen phase

RU58841 (RU-58841) works by binding to the androgen receptor in the hair follicle. Therefore androgens don’t have the chance to bind and start the chain reaction of androgenetic alopecia and begin the so called miniaturization process. It has been demonstrated to interrupt this hair loss message locally so that normal hair growth could continue.

How stable is RU58841?
RU58841 is stable for at least 2 years at room temperature.
It´s a big myth that RU58841 is unstable at room temperature. We have actually verified this by doing an HPLC stability test that showed that there was no significant degradation after 24 months at room temperature.
When you look at studies about the stability of other various compounds you can actually also see that a lot of them are perfectly stable for a long time.

Been using RU for quite some time now, and I constantly order the premixed for simplicity. The Bitcoin savings is appreciated, and makes this affordable where as previously I could not afford this. My only complaint and reason for 4 stars, is that the batch date is sometimes well past 6+ Months, sometimes ranging to a Year. While I understand it is ‘stable’ for up to a year, I find when it comes from an older batch it is less effective. Could be in my head, but would be nice if the batches were atleast from the past 3-6 months…

This is crazy but it’s only been about 1.5weeks since I started, kinda just stopped paying attention to the process, then just recently, noticed that my head feels more bristly. It seems there’s some little clear hairs showing up than can’t yet be seen with the naked eye but can be felt. I’m excited to see what happens by the end of this bottle!
